At seven years old, Scott Sheldon watched "Cool Hand Luke." That's when he decided to become an actor.

His first stage performance soon followed: as The Cat in his second grade's production of "The Little Red Hen."

Scott earned his B. A. in History, with a theatre minor, from Siena College in Loudonville, NY. His first professional acting role was as Sohovik, the catcher in "Damn Yankees," for the Albany, NY summer theatre company, Park Playhouse in Washington Park. Scott further advanced his performance studies in New York City at the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse. Since graduating, he has appeared on stage and television numerous times -- including, before leaving New York City, the requisite episode of "Law and Order."

In 2006, Scott relocated to Los Angeles. In his first audition, he booked a national commercial for P.O.D.S moving and storage. He's gone on to book more nationals, for companies such as BMW, and appeared in co-star roles on "CSI:NY" and "The Young and the Restless."

Scott transferred his stage talents to the west coast, becoming a member of the renowned Circus Theatricals theater company. Scott starred as Macbeth in the company's recent production of The Scottish Play, and has performed in substantive roles in Chekov's "Three Sisters," "More Lies About Jerzy," the Annual One-Act Play Festival (for which he received accolades from the L.A. Times and Backstage West -- reprising one starring role in the short film "Game Seven," directed by Jack Stehlin). Scott also stars as a meth dealer in the short film "Black Angel," and as the romantic lead in the forthcoming dark comedy "Requiem for a Cat," directed by Del Big Tree. In 2011, Scott will appear in the feature film "Small Apartments," starring Matt Lucas and directed by Jonas Akerlund.
